Narrative
Second Lieutenant ESMOND HALLEWELL ROGERS 10th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in Action on 3rd July 1916 aged 25 (battle of the Somme). He was the son of Sir Hallewell ROGERS Kt,D.L. Honory Colonel of 68th Brigade RFA and Lady Rogers of Greville Lodge, Edgebaston, Birmingham. He is one of the missing and is commemorated on Thiepval Memorial in France along with his brother FRANK ROSTER ROGERS Lance Corporal , 14th Royal Warwickshire Regiment also killed in action 23rd July 1916.
